NAKODAR
Unidentified miscreant on Wednesday barged into a Nakodar temple and decamped away with silver ornaments and other valuables from there.
Rajiv Jain spokesman of Chakreshvari Devi Jain Tirath temple situated on Malsian road told the media that thieves stole the silver crown, silver chains, and silver bangles adorning the idol of Mata Devi and other valuables which deeply hurt the sentiments of the Jain community.
Nakodar city police station house officer Labh Singh reached the spot and said a case is being registered in this connection.
Increasing incidents of thefts have put a question mark on police patrolling and increased security concerns of residents.
