NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
The investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that 145 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Balkar Singh alias Balkari son of Rup Lal a resident of Dharme Dian Chhana village.
IO said that a case under section 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
