The Shahkot police have booked four unidentified robbers on the charge of looting cash from a superstore.
Pradeep Kumar a resident of Azad Nagar, ward no.11 Shahkot complained to the police that the accused barged into his superstore on Moga road on January 2 and attacked him and his bother with sharp-edged weapons and looted Rs 1 Lakh from a cion box and fled away.
The investigating officer Harnek Singh said that a case under sections 392(punishment for robbery), 397(robbery with an attempt to cause death or grievous hurt.), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered against unidentified accused and further investigations are on.
