The Shahkot police have booked four persons including a mother-son duo on the charge of kidnapping a minor.
The investigating officer (IO) and Malsian police post in-charge Nirmal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Rajpal alias Bau son of Kashmir Singh a resident of Patti Laksian ,Malsian village, his mother Manjit Kaur Suman wife of Laddi a resident of the same locality and her daughter Tammana .
Jaswindar Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused kidnapped her minor daughter by inducing her.
IO said that a case under sections 363-A (kidnapping minor),366 (kidnapping woman to compel her marriage ) and 120-B(criminal conspiracy)of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigation is on.
