The Shahkot police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of stealing motorcycles.
The investigating officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Mintu Kumar alias Ghuda son of Mohann Lal a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura Nakodar and Gurjant Singh alias Jant son of Malkit Singh a resident Mannak Pur village.
IO said that he has received information that the accused are indulging in stealing motorcycles from the area coming to sell a stolen motorcycle and were intercepted at a Naka.
IO said that a stolen motorcycle was been recovered from the accused and case sections 379(theft) and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC have been registered against them.
The Nakodar Sadar police also arrested two villagers on the charge of indulging in snatching activities.
The investigation officer (IO) Jasvir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amrit Pal alias Amrit son of Satnam a resident of Shankar village and Lovepreet Singh alias Karan alias Nikka son of Mangal Singh a resident of Saidu Pur village.
