The Nakodar Sadar police have booked two villagers on the charge of indulging in snatching activities.

The investigation officer (IO) Jasvir Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amrit Pal alias Amrit son of Satnam a resident of Shankar village and Lovepreet Singh alias Karan alias Nikka son of Mangal Singh a resident of Saidu Pur village.
IO said that he was manning a Naka at Gohir village when a social activist approached and informed him that the accused are habitual snatchers and indulge in such activities in areas
IO said that a case under sections 379-B (snatching) 506(criminal intimidation) Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to nab them.
