The Lohian Khas police have arrested two juveniles on the charge of sodomizing a 5-year-old child.
The investigating officer (IO) Govindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Ravi son of Chhindi and Sukhprit Singh alias Sonu son of Rajwindar Singh residents of Mandala Chhana village.
IO said that a case under sections 377(unnatural offense) and 506(criminal intimidation and 34(committing the crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 5/6/15 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and 2019 was registered against the accused who were produced in a court which remanded them to a Ludhiana observation home.
