The Nakodar city police have booked four members of in law’s family on the charges of committing an unnatural offense with the victim and assaulting her.
The investigating officer (IO) and In-charge Crime Against Women Nakodar sub-division Inspector Daljit Kaur said that the accused have been identified as Bikramjit son of Tarlochan Dass a resident of Aalo Wal village, his mother Raman, and sisters Parveen and Joti.
The victim complained to the police that her marriage was solemnized with Bikaramjit about ten years ago who is a drug addict.
The victim said that the accused after watching porn videos used to forcibly perform the unnatural offense with her and whenever she resisted such acts the accused beat her.
The victim said that she could not tell her parents and she felt ashamed but one day told her mother-in-law and sister in laws who told her to keep her husband happy she will have to do this act.
The victim said on December 18 night her husband came home in an inebriated condition and insisted to perform a shameful act she came out of the room but her mother-in-law and sister in laws caught her hair and assaulted her, and she fell unconscious after some time and informed her parents who rushed her to Nakodar civil hospital.
IO said that a case section 377(unnatural sex) 323(voluntary causing hurt) and 34(committing crime) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
