NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin.
The investigating officer (IO) Jasvir Singh said that 5 grams of heroin were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswindar Singh alias Bindar son of Saina Singh a resident of Parjian Bihari Pur village under Jagraon police station Ludhiana.
IO said that a case under section 21 (b) /61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
