NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested three more accused on the charge of murdering Nakodar cloth merchant Bhupindar Singh Chawla alias Timmi and his gunman constable Mandip Singh.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Labh Singh said media that the accused have been identified as Amrik Singh son of Balwindar Singh, Sajan Singh son of Sohan Singh residents of Chotian village under Kot Bhai police station, Mukat Sar Sahib and Thakur son of Visakha Singh a resident of Dune Wal village under Sangat Mandi police station, Bathinda.
SHO said that the accused cooperated with other accused in committing the crime and six gangsters were arrested earlier adding that further investigations are on.
The Nakodar city police had registered a case under sections 302(murder) 307(murder attempt) and 34(committing the crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act in this connection.
