SHAHKOT
The Shahkot police have booked a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer Harbhajan Lal said that 255 bottles of the illicit country-made liquor were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Kashmir Singh a resident of Bau Pur village who managed to flee from the spot.
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
