The Lohian Khas police have booked four villagers on the charge of assaulting a villager.
The investigating officer (IO) Iqbal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Kuldeep Kumar alias Katta,Ajay Kumar alias Deep, Shiv Kumar secretary, and Mandip Singh alias Bhilo all residents of Kang Kalan.
Jaswindar Singh alias Billa a resident of Kang Khurd village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with sharp weapons and seriously injured him on December 16 and threatened him with dire consequences.
IO said that a case under sections 324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means)341(wrongful restraint) 506(criminal intimidation) and 34 (committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
