A case of theft of Rs 2.15 lakh has been registered against the three unidentified persons at Sadar police station Muktsar.
The case has been registered on the complaint of Gaurav Ahuja, the managing director of the MS Ahuja agro food private limited, located on Sadar Wala road Muktsar.
Gaurav has stated to the police that he had received a cash payment for rice of Rs 2.15 lakh on December 18.
"I had locked the cash in my office drawer and left home with the keys. But when I came to the office the next day, I found that cash was missing and the doors of the office were broken. I checked the CCTV cameras of the office and found that 3 unidentified persons had entered the office and took away the cash,"Gaurav has alleged.
The police have registered a case against three unidentified under section 452 and 380 of IPC at Sadar police station.
