The Lohian Khas police have booked two persons on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The investigating officer (IO)Jaspal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amandeep alias Donn son of Jeet Chand a resident of Sardarwala village and his brother Sital alias Sodhi.
Sarabjit Kaur wife of Gurcharan Singh a resident of the same village complained that she was going to her fields to bring fodder when the accused followed her and assaulted and tore clothes and threatened her on December 17.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) 341(wrongful restraint) 506 (criminal intimidation) and 34(committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. No arrested have been made and raids are
being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
