NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police arrested two more gangsters on the charge of murdering Nakodar cloth merchant Bhupinder Singh Chawla alias Timmi and his gunman constable Mandeep Singh.
Nakodar city police station house officer (SHO) Labh Singh said that the accused have been identified as Lakhbir Singh alias Lakha son of Sukhdev Singh a resident of Ramun Wal village under Dail Pura police station Bathinda and Charanjit Singh alias Shiva son of Jogindar Singh a resident of Lal Bai village under Lambi police station Mukat Sar Sahib.
SHO said a case under sections 302(murder) 307(murder attempt) and 34(committing the crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and a total of eight gangsters have been arrested and further investigations are on.
