Three more arrests in Nakodar cloth merchant’s murder case

 

NAKODAR

The Jalandhar(rural) police have arrested three more accused on the charge of murdering Nakodar cloth merchant Bhupindar Singh Chawla alias Timmi and his gunman constable Mandip Singh.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Swardeep Singh told media that the accused have been identified as Akashdeep alias Ghainti son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Nur Pur Chatha village, Gagandeep alias Gagan son of Jasvir Singh and Gurwindar Singh alias Ginda son of Buta Singh residents of Malarri village.

SSP said that the accused cooperated with other accused in committing the crime and one pistol 30 bore ,2 live cartridges 2 motorcycles and one i-20 car, and one Scorpio used in crime have been recovered from the possession of the accused and raids are being conducted to nab other absconding accused in this case

 

The Nakodar city police has registered a case under sections 302(murder) 307(murder attempt) and 34(committing the crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act in this connection .
