The Shahkot police have arrested a villager on the charge of outraging a woman’s modesty.
The investigating officer (IO) Lakhvir Singh said that the accused has been identified as Paramjit Singh alias Pamma son of Santokh Singh a resident of Aidal Pur al village.
IO said that a case under sections 354 (criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty),323 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) 341(wrongful restraint), and 34(committing crime with common intention) was registered against the accused.
