NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked four persons on charges of assault and criminal conspiracy.
The investigating officer (IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jaswindar Singh alias Jass, Paramjit Singh resident of Rahim Pur village, Bansa son of Dalipa a resident of Jallowal village in Kapurthala, and another Bansa.
Surjit Singh a resident of Rahim Pur village complained to the police that the accused assaulted and injured him on December 5 evening.
IO said that a case under sections 323, (voluntarily causing hurt) 447(criminal trespass) 511(Attempting to commit offenses punishable with imprisonment for life) 427(mischief), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
