The Shahkot police have arrested a Shahkot motorcyclist on the charge of creating a public nuisance.
The investigating officer (IO) Sulindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Yusaf son of Bachan Ram a resident Bulanda village under Mehat Pur police station and presently living near Nimma Wala School.
IO said that the accused was driving his bullet motorcycle (PB-08-DC -8257) very fast and negligently on December 4 and was coming from the SDM office side emitting irritating sounds by snapping his motorcycle cylinder and creating a public nuisance.
IO said a case under section 268 (punishment for public nuisance) of the IPC and section207 (powers to detain vehicles used without FC, RC, DL, permit.) of the Motor Vehicle Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his two-wheeler.
