The Nakodar sadar police have booked three persons on charges of attempting to murder and committing crimes with common intention.
The investigating officer (IO) Sukhwindar Pal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Amolak Singh, Preeta resident of Kullar village, and Billa a resident of Mandala village under Lohian Khas police station.
Sahil Kumar a Himachal Pradesh native residing at Kullar village complained to the police that the accused attacked with the intention to kill and seriously injured him on November 22 when he was sitting in a tavern.
IO said a case under sections 307(attempt to murder), 451(house-trespass to commit an offense punishable with imprisonment.)323,324 (voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means), and 34 (committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigations are on.
