- "They want to link up my son's murder with gansters and want to portray it as a result of gangwar, which is not at all. He was murdered by a deep rooted conspiracy and many questions are unanswered. But I shall not accept it. I would like to go the way my son went so that I can feel his pain falling to a volley of bullets," said Balkaur Singh.
Faridkot: Dissatisfied over the on going investigation into the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, Balkaur Singh, his father today said that he will withdraw the FIR regsitered in the case of murder of his son if he did not get justice and leave the country.
He alleged that the police are trying to portray the murder of his son as a result of allegd gang war or gang rivalry.
He further leveled serious charges of letting some accused go scot free by taking bribes by the in charge of the CIA Mansa besides giving favors to arrested gangster Deepak Teenu while he was in police custody.
“Five months have rolled by and 6th is set in today since my son fell to bullets. But I am demanding many answers from the investigators which are not given. I have now requested the DGP Punjab to give me some time to hear me. I shall wait till the end of November. I am a disciplined soldier and do not want to go against the law in any way so that there is some other loss. But I shall not let the shoddy investigation portray my son linked with any gangster,” said Balkaur Singh, addressing Sidhu's fans at his village.
He further questioned the move of the NIA to summon some female artists associated with Sidhu.
He said he had handed over all the case properties to investigation including his phone which the police got unlocked from the US.
But still they could not find any link between my son and any gangster,Balkaur Singh said.
"If you want to summon anybody to know about Sidhu, summon me, I shall tell you everything from his birth to death," said Balkaur Singh.
He alleged that his son was eliminated by a deep rooted conspiracy.
“He was leading the youth to do agriculture again which is migrating to the other countries, but he was targeted with a deep rooted conspiracy,” he said.
He said that he had paid all his son’s fees from his hard earned money from agriculture and never accepted any paisa through bad business.
“I have been silent all the months and fully cooperate with the investigating agencies, but they have taken it as my weakness,” Balkaur Singh alleged.
Balkaur Singh also said with anguish that no one from such a big music industry stood with his family barring two female artists.
He also raised pointed questions to link up Sidhu murder case to the murder of Vicky Middukhera through Shaganpreet, the so called manager of Moosewala.
“I shall give up the government security, withdraw the FIR and leave the country if I got no answers to my questions by November 25. Till then, you should also complete the sowing of new season crops and afterwards, we shall chalk out the further strategy and course of action,” said Balkaur Singh, addressing the fans of Sidhu Moose Wala today.
