Eco-Friendly Diwali week begins at Innocent Hearts
JALANDHAR: Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Innocent Hearts College of Education and Innocent Hearts Schools organized a 'Fest of Festivity' program to celebrate 'Eco-Friendly Diwali'. The event included various activities for campus students as well as Grades XI and XII students of Innocent Hearts Schools (Green Model Town, Loharan and The Royal World International School). The campus was decorated with attractive Rangoli designs, vibrant colours and other embellishments on the occasion.

The students participated in every activity with full enthusiasm.  They prepared beautiful and creative Rangoli in the 'Play with Colours' activity and showed their artistic skills in the 'Splash the Canvas' activity.

A special competition 'Cooking without Fire' was held in which Master Chefs from Innocent Hearts Group showcased their innovations in salty and sweet dishes and beverages too.

To showcase the aesthetic skills of the students, 'Enhance Your Corner' and 'Toran Making' activities were organized where the students made decorative items for the Diwali festival.

In Innocent Hearts School, students of Grade VII participated in candle decoration and Grade VIII in slogan writing competition. The students wrote slogans like 'Crackers are of no use', they are just environment abuse', 'Celebrate a safe Diwali' etc.

Director, Dr. Shailesh Tripathi, appreciated the efforts of the cultural team for organizing this wonderful event.  Mrs. Sharmila Nakra, (Deputy Director - Cultural Affairs) said that the entire campus is resonating with positive energy and enthusiasm and hope that this Diwali brings immense peace and prosperity in everyone's life.
