NEW DELHI: After the big increase in the prices of natural gas, an increase of Rs 3 has been announced in Delhi on Saturday for CNG and PNG gas.
The 14th increase in the price of CNG after March 7 this year, while its price was last increased on May 21 at the rate of Rs 2 per kg. CNG became costlier by Rs 22.60 during this period.
Indraprastha Gas Limited has informed on its website that the price of CNG in Delhi has now increased from Rs 75.61 per kg to Rs 78.61 per kg.
The price of PNG gas reaching kitchens through pipes has now increased to Rs 53.59 per SCM (Standard Cubic Meter) in Delhi as against Rs 50.59 per SCM earlier.
This is the tenth increase in PNG prices since August last year. During this, PNG has become costlier by Rs 29.93 per SCM or about 91 per cent. This price may vary in the cities under IGL as per local taxes.
