NEW DELHI: Several locations of Popular Front of India (PFI) have been raided in the national capital Delhi. During the raid, 30 people have been detained by the police. Special Cell, Special Branch and Local Police of Delhi Police are involved in the raid.
According to the information, the raids have been conducted in Nizamuddin, Rohini and several other location.
In Delhi, raids have also been conducted in Jamia, North East Delhi, Central Delhi, East Delhi and Outer Delhi. About a dozen suspects taken from Delhi's Jamia area have been detained. The Special Cell of Delhi Police is investigating and taking action on the matter related to PFI. After the raid, the paramilitary force in Shaheen Bagh along with the local police is doing rounds in the entire area.
As many as 30 PFI members have been detained from related locations during the raids.
