Women have continued to protest by burning hijab at many places for the fifth consecutive day.
The latest demonstrations in Iran have started after the death of a girl named Mahsa Amini in police custody.
Mahsa Amini, 22, of Iran's Kurdistan province, died in police custody.
She was arrested in Tehran last week by Iran’s morality police for "alleged non-compliance with hijab rules".
Tehran's Morality Police say some of the women were detained in Iran for strict enforcement of the "cloak and loose clothing" rule in public. Mahsa was among them.
However, Iranian authorities have launched probes into the death of Ms. Amini.
Tehran police commander Hussein Rahimi said on Monday that "cowardly charges" were being leveled against the police. There was no violence against Mehsa and the police did whatever they could to keep her alive.
