Amritsar: Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology in association with Punjab Energy Development Agency, Govt of Punjab organised an awareness camp on `Rooftop Solar System under 100% Renewable Energy City Project’, supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India. Dr. Manju Bala, Director-Principal welcomed the chief guest senior vice Chairperson Ravi Mohan Kapoor saying that these kind of awareness camps are very important as today world is facing acute energy crisis and it is the need of an hour that students should be made aware about the procedures to harness the solar energy.
