(SUBHEAD) Amritsar: Punjab Bhartiya Janata Party today kick started a major `Kissan Outreach Program’ by holding state-wide pro-farmers events, ahead of lifting wheat from the grain markets from the border state. They not only showed solidarity with the farmers at the onset of the harvesting season but said the Modi government in the Centre was committed to take farmers out of the existing ‘farming crisis’ in the state.
