JALANDHAR: Under Disha- an initiative run by Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust Innocent Hearts Multispeciality Hospital, Dr. Noopur, a paediatrician addressed the mothers of newborn babies on the occasion of 'World Breastfeeding Week'. She gave tips to mothers on the need for breastfeeding. She told that mother's milk is the best and essential for the newborn. Every infant should be given only breast milk from birth till the age of six months. 'World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated every year from 1st August to 7th August. This year's theme is "Step Up for Breastfeeding: Educate and Support".
