Maharashtra: Prominent social activist Anna Hazare has called off his proposed hunger strike against the Maharashtra government's decision to allow the sale of liquor in supermarkets and kirana stores. Declared on Sunday he has ‘suspended’ the strike as the state government has assured him it will consider citizens' views before going ahead with the decision.
