BATHINDA: The world celebrated “World Glaucoma Week” from 6th March to 12th March 2022. The department of Ophthalmology, AIIMS, Bathinda also celebrated this week. The events started with inauguration on 7th March by the Executive Director of AIIMS Bathinda, Dr. D.K Singh. He said that as Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of visual impairment and irreversible blindness in India, it is necessary to spread awareness about this disease in outreach areas in and around Bathinda.
