The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Major Singh said that 35 intoxicants tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as
Rahul Kaliann alias Kalu son of Manjit Kuimar a resident of Mohalla Rishi Nagar Shahkot and Rakesh Kumar alias Rinku son of Baldev Raj of Mohalla Puranni Gali Shahkot
IO stated that a case under sections -22/61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded their car (PB-08-P-2600) in which they were travelling with the contraband.
