The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Kulwindar Singh said that 22 intoxicant tablets were recovered from thepossession of the accused, identified as Sarabjit Singh son of Sukhdev Singh a resident of Lattian Wal village in Kapurthala
IO stated that a case under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Bilga police arrested drug peddler Akash son of Joga Ram of Shadi Pur village with 25 intoxicant tablets, said IO Avtar Lal .
The Nurmahal police arrested two drug peddlers Nishan Singh son of Paramjit Singh a resident of Raja Gardan Mandi Road Nurmahal and Sanni son of Harmesh Lal of Dhali Wal village in Nakodar with 88 intoxicant tablets said IO Jaspal Singh
