The Nurmahal police have arrested a villager on charges of mudar bid, assault, house trespass.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jogindar Pal alias Toti a resident of Sagar Pur village.
Sunil Kumar, a resident of the same village had, complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices barged into his house on October 22 and attacked him and his cousin with intention to kill.
IO said that a case under sections109(attempt to murder) 333(house trespass after preparation for hurt), 118(1,2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 324(4) (mischief) ,191(3) (rioting armed with deadly weapons) 190 (unlawful assembly) of the BNS was registered against the accused, and others.
