NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have booked two persons for gang raping a minor.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said the accused has been identified as Vansh a resident of Chania village.
IO said Government Railway Police has registered a case under gang rape section of BNS and sections of POSCO Act in September in this connection but as crime was committed in Nakodar Sadar areas DA legal opinion was sought and a case has been registered on the order of Senior Superintendent of Police Jalandhar (rural ) under section 70(2) (gang rape) of the BNS and section 6 of the Posco Act .
