The Nurmahal police have arrested two drug peddlers on charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO)Gurnam Singh said that 110 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jaswant Singh alias Sonu son of Gurdial Singh a resident of Cheema Kalan village and Gurmail Singh alias Dula son of Bikar Singh a resident of Alaudi Pur village in Kapurthala.
IO said a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Bhupindar Singh alias Anmol son of Rashpal Singh a resident of Sanghe Jagir village under Nurmahal police station with 27 intoxicant tablets said IO Kulwindar Singh.
The Shahkot police arrested a drug peddler Aman Preet alias Aman son of Nirmal Singh a resident of Kaanganna village with 15 intoxicant tablets said IO Jagtar Singh.
