 NAKODAR

Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit organized a massive blood donation camp at Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Nakodar, dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Hind Di Chadar Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and his great companions—Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Diala Ji. The event was held with deep devotion and enthusiasm.

The primary objective of this camp was to serve humanity and to pay heartfelt tribute to the Ninth Guru and his companions, who made the supreme sacrifice to protect religion, righteousness, and human values. Their unparalleled martyrdom continues to inspire the Sikh community toward noble deeds and social service.

The camp commenced with the first blood donation by Gurpartap Singh Wadala, Secretary-General of Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit. He stated, “Blood donation is one of the greatest acts of service that can save lives. Following the teachings of our Guru Sahiban, every individual should come forward for such noble causes.”

The blood donation camp received an overwhelming response from the community. Men, women, and especially youth from Nakodar and surrounding areas participated with great devotion and enthusiasm. The enthusiastic involvement of young volunteers reflects the growing sense of social responsibility and commitment within the next generation.

The camp was managed efficiently and in accordance with all medical guidelines. A team of highly qualified doctors and nurses was present, conducting health check-ups for donors and ensuring that the entire blood donation process was carried out safely. The collected blood was processed in collaboration with the local blood bank to ensure timely availability for patients in need.

At the conclusion of the event, an Ardas was performed in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and all sewadars, organisers, and donors were thanked for their contributions.

Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit conveyed that the truest tribute to the great martyrs is to follow their path of service, sacrifice, and commitment to the welfare of humanity. The success of this camp once again proved that the Sikh community remains ever ready to walk on the path shown by the Guru Sahiban.
