The Nakodar Sadar have booked the husband of a woman for dowry harassment.
Investigating officer (IO) Tirath Ram said that the accused has been identified as Jaspal Singh son of Gian Singh a resident of Bihari Pur village under Sadar Kapurthala police station
Rannjit Kaur daughter of Sadhu Singh a resident of Kotla Janga village, had complained to the senior superintendent of police, Jalandhar (rural), that she was being mentally harassing by her husband for bring more dowry
IO said a case under section 498-A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of the IPC been registered against the accused after an inquiry.
