NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug addict on the charge of consuming heroin.
Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said the accused has been identified as Harwindar Kumar alias Rimpi a resident Mohalla Falahi Wala Nurmahal.
IO said a lighter, silver paper, and plastic pipes used for consuming contraband was recovered from his possession. A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
