The Lohian Khas police have arrested Krishan Lal son of Kashmira a resident of Jamsher village and his mother Jagir Kaur, on the charges of murdering his wife Anubala.
SHO Gursharan Singh said that a case undersections 103 (murder) and 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) and 238(causing disappearance of evidence or giving false information to screen offender ) of the BNS was registered against the accused.Ranna son of Nathi a resident of Appra village under Phillaur police station and close relative of tdeceased had told
the police that husband of Anubala who was living abroad suddenly came back on November 2 and brutally beat Anubala along with his family members under well planned conspiracy and admitted her in civil hospital claiming accident who was refeed to Jalandhar civil hospital where she told that her in-laws brutally beat her .
Jalandhar civil hospital referred the deceased to Amritsar after five days, but her in-laws admitted her into a Jalandhar private clinic where she succumbed to her injuries on November 10.
SHO said the accused doubted Anubala’s character which resulted in her murder
