The Shahkot police have arrested a Moga miscreant on the charge of snatching woman’s earrings.
Investigating officer (IO) Angrej Singh said that the accused has been identified as Sourav Kumar alias Jaili son of Raj Kumar a resident of Beant Nagar, Moga.
Sukhwindar Kaur wife of Jaswindar Singh a resident of Bagga village complained to the police that she was returning home on October 29 evening when the accused and his accomplice snatched her two gold earrings.
IO said a case under section304(snatching) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Kala.
