The Mehta Pur police have booked a woman farmer on the charge of violating order duly promulgated by a public servant by burning paddy stubble fields.
Investigation Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that the alleged accused has been identified as Bhupinder Kaur wife of Baldev Singh a resident of Lohgarh village
IO said the concerned nodal officer has sent his report to the police which was verified and examined at the place of occurrence.
IO said that the accused had set afire her paddy stubble fields and violated government order in this regard and polluted the atmosphere.
A case under section 223(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
