The Mehat Pur police have booked unidentified thieves on charges of stealing Rs 3.5 Lakhs in cash andother items from a school.Mangal Singh, a resident of Green Colony Mehatpur Pur and Vice Principal of Gobind Sarver Senior Secondary School, Buland Puri Sahib, complained to the police that thieves barged into the school on the night of 13 October and stole Rs 3.5 Lakhs in cash and other items.Investigating officer Kashmir Singh said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against unidentified accused.
