The Nurmahal police have booked three villagers on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO)Gurnam Singh said that the accused have been identified as Gurman Singh, Rajveer Singh, and Arasi, residents of Bundala village.
Tanveer Singh, a resident of the same village, complained to the police that the accused barged into his house, attacked him and his friend and threatened.IO said that a case under sections 115(2)(voluntarily causing hurt),333(lurking house trespass), 351(2) (criminal intimidation),324(mischief), 191(3)(rioting being armed with a deadly weapon), and 190(unlawful assembly) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
