Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal today called upon people to imbibe the teachings of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji to build a harmonious society based on equality, peace, and brotherhood. He was participating in an event organized by employees at the District Administrative Complex to mark the Prakat Utsav of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji.
Paying obeisance before the portrait of Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, Dr. Aggarwal said that following his path was vital for maintaining social harmony and eliminating inequalities. He added that Bhagwan Valmiki Ji’s philosophy was even more relevant today for creating an ideal society free from discrimination and injustice. The Deputy Commissioner was honoured with a holy robe by officials upon his arrival. Later, he partook in the langar organized by employees, which was also served to visitors as part of the celebrations.
