NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler couple on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jagtar Singh said that 43 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Bhajan Lal alias Bhajna, son of Darshan Lal, a resident of Bajuha Kalan village, and his wife Parwinder Kaur.
IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
