NAKODAR/LOHIAN KHAS
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that 12 intoxicant tablets were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Sukhwindar Singh alias Sukha, son of Gian Singh, a resident of Uggi village.
IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
The Lohian Khas police arrested drug peddler Gurpreet Singh alias Mithu, son of Harbans Singh, a resident of Ghudu Wal village, with 35 intoxicant tablets, said IO Omesh Kumar.
