The Shahkot police have arrested unidentified thieves on the charge of stealing Rs 7.40 lakhs in cash.
Tarsem Singh, a resident of Mulle Wal Khehra village, complained to the police that the accused barged intohis house and stole Rs 7.40 lakhs in cash Investigating officer Sarwann Singh said that a case under sections 331(3) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
