The Mehat Pur police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating Officer (IO) Kashmir Singh said that 125 were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Mohamad Shaka alias Kaka, son of Bashir Ahmad, a resident of Panjdhera village under Phillaur police station.
IO stated that a case has been registered under sections 22/ 61/ 85 of the NDPS Act against the accused.
