Three unidentified miscreants booked for snatching, endangering life

The Lohian Khas y police have booked three unidentified miscreants on charges of snatching and endangering life
Kishan Singh a native of Bihar state and presently living at Puniyan village, complained to the police that he is working for laying pork line on Jammu -Katara National Highway and was sleeping on 23 September night near Pippli village with his three co-workers when a bolero stopped near them at midnight.
Kishan said three accused came out from vehicle and two went toward his coworkers who were in a tent and one accused with a double barrel gun came near him and asked him at gun point to give him what ever had.
The complainant said he gave his phone with power bank and snatched three mobiles from his co-worker
and stole other items from the site .He said when he and his coworkers confronted the accused, they fired in the air and fled away adding that he can recognise the accused if brought in his front.
IO said that a case under section 309(4) (robbery) and 125() endangering life) of the BNS and sections 25/27 of the Arms Act has been registered against the unidentified accused.
This incident of snatching has created a sense of insecurity among residents and put a question mark on the police.
