The Lohian Kha police have booked a farmer on the charge of violating order duly promulgated by a
public servant by burning paddy stubble fields.
Investigating Officer (IO) Avtar Singh said that the alleged accused has been identified as Raj Kumar son of Hari Singh Theh Kushal Garh (Kand Khurd) village.
Lohian Khas BDPO superintendent Buta Mahih sent a photocopy to the police of chalan form which
showed the accused burning paddy stubble in field and was fined Rs 5000.
IO said that the accused set afire paddy stubble field and violated government order in this regard and polluted atmosphere. A case under section 223(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against the accused.
